Reflections on the Union soldier and sailor in the American Civil War
Welcome to Blogging Union Blue! This blog has been specifically created to present interesting stories about the Union soldier and sailor in the American Civil War (as well as any number of related topics that would be of interest to Brothers of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War). As an “e-zine” (of sorts), this blog is for the benefit of the Brothers in the Maryland Department, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. However, I hope that other members of the S.U.V.C.W., as well as those who are not members, may find the postings here both informative and valuable as a pool of resource material. Enjoy!

Mr. Moore has created a blog that bogs my mind with wonder at the infinite paths to Civil War historical understanding. I commend this effort and will be visiting often. THANK YOU
